An American built/owned beach house perched
on a ridgetop just above Playa Chiquita, in the rainforest canopy
overlooking beautiful gardens on 2.5 acres of private land.
The property is minutes from some of Costa Rica's most beautiful
beaches and has outstanding sea and rainforest views throughout
the property. The 2 bedroom 2 bath main house can sleep up to
8 people. The house faces the Caribbean Sea and because of it's
position on the top of a ridge it is cooled by constant sea
breezes. There is a beautiful pool with pool house, bar and
BBQ for cooling off or entertaining. The property also has an
extra seperate bungalow, bedroom 3, with bath and full bed.
The house has an equipped kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator,
washer, dryer, weekly maid service, daily pool service, hot
water. Many activities from surfing, beachcombing, fishing,
nature tours, great nightlife and much more.This is a perfect
vacation home for a family or a celebrity get-away!

This
house was built in 1978 within a lush private estate measuring
four manzanas and belonging to my family since 1970. It has two
stories, 270m. of construction with a surrounding lot of 1650m.
There are 6 bedrooms with seven beds and all the bedding, 3 bathrooms,
one having a white cast iron tub with claw feet! The kitchen and
breakfast bar countertops are grey granite. There is a gas range
with a big oven, refrigerator, microwave,silverware, stemware
and handmade stoneware for four. Pots, skillets, blender,
coffeemaker, juicer and other utencils are supplied. Kitchen,
dining and living area look over a Jacuzzi, built on an uncovered
deck outside with view to San José and La Carpintera, the
mountains to the south. With parquet wood flooring, the dining
and living room also have antique rattan furniture, window seats,
and a fireplace. There is a garage for one car but enough space
for another car in the half basketball court, lots of lemon trees,
and access to a volleyball field down by the river below. The
house has telephone, AMNET T.V. service, high speed internet,
alarm and an electric gate at the street entrance.
There are numerous birds, butterflies, and owls
because of the beautiful trees, plants and flowers. The buses
run consistently to San José from the main street which
is 75m. from the house. The view is breeathtaking and the atmosphere
is very peaceful. There is gardening service included and maid
service is provided but optional. Marian Baker School, through
12th grade and Escuela Talarke, Pre-K through 6th grade, both
excellent bilingual academic institutions are three minutes away!
